Students from
Classes IX and X of Don Bosco High School, Matunga, attended an ‘International
Shiksha Abhiyan’ initiated by Study Networks, at our sister concern, Don Bosco
College, Kurla on August 20.
A delegation representing popular and
emerging study destinations, ranging from Monash University (Melbourne), Essec
Business School (France), S.I.M. (Singapore), I.E. (Spain), University of
Victoria (Canada) to The University of South Carolina (U.S.A.) were present to
counsel the students about possible future careers. Other delegates represented
universities in New Zealand, The Netherlands, Ireland and The United Kingdom.
The aspiring students were mentored
with the necessary information and a one-on-one delegate-student interaction
followed. Further information through brochures and details about essentials
such as passport and visa requirements, qualifications necessary for each
course and available scholarships were also given.
“Time and again, Don Bosco, Matunga,
has proved to be one of the best schools in Mumbai. This time the school has
gone one step further and brought the world of international education to our
doorstep,” said Mrs. Manghi, parent of Aman Manghi, IX F.
