Standard I-IV celebrated Christmas week from 14th November 2015. The
week began with a discussion, that brought out the meaning of Christmas.
Christmas carols were played and the students sang along. They also sketched
out beautiful Christmas trees and coloured it. A crib was set up by the
students in every class. They also did an activity whereby they made cutouts of
snowmen which were displayed in class.
On the 18th the children were
taken to the hall for the Christmas symposium program full of Christmas
entertainment, the story of Christmas complete with shepherds, wise men and of
course the little baby jesus. Santa visited the children much to their
joy.
On the 19th the children
attended the games stalls of the Christmas Panorama and enjoyed playing the
games in a relaxed manner together with disco dancing, prizes were won to the
excitement of many.
This was followed by a
Christmas party complete with snacks and games. All wished each other a Merry
Christmas before going home with promises to meet in the New Year.
