Std. I to IV observed Republic Day as an attempt to imbibe in
the students a sense of pride for our country. The day began with a speech
given by Mst. Vikrant Pawar the Captain of the Primary Section. The students
were briefed about the importance of this day. Republic Day honors the date on
which the Constitution of India came into force on 26th January 1950 replacing
the government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India. The
classrooms were decorated with charts and pictures of flags prepared by the
students. The teachers conducted a quiz in class and the students viewed a
video related to the constitution drafted by Dr.B.R. Ambedkar. The students
along with their teachers sang patriotic songs in class.
