Taking
a break from the humdrum of day to day school activity, coaching classes,
computers, smartphones and other gadgets, our NCC troupe under the able
leadership of their master, Sir Shukla, and five other guides, ventured on a
one-day trekking expedition on the enchanting mountainous route of
Kharjat-Ambivali-Kotaligad. Starting early on Sunday (24th Jan) morning, the cadets
overcame fatigue, heat, and cramps to climb hilly terrains that covered the
lower plateau of Peth, the Bhairoba temple at the entrance of an ancient cave
and a fort. More
of such activities will surely give our present day students satisfying moments
with nature and prepare them for challenges ahead.
