Don Bosco Matunga has much to cheer
with a few trophies coming its way by way of sports and cultural events. At the
annual Open Athletic meet 2016 organized by the Catholic Gymkhana, Rom Padelkar
stood 2nd and Arzaan Panthaky stood 3rd in Long jump in the boys under-12
category. Sakshay Pradhan won silver in 400m and bronze in 200m. Krish Jain won
the Bronze medal in shot put in boys under-14 category. In tennis, Master
Ayush Hindlekar of Std. 7 emerged the winner in U /12 inter school lawn
tennis Premium league. Aameen Khan of Std 8 won a gold in the inter-school
skating competition organized by ISPL.
Master Akash Patki of Std. IX did the
school proud by emerging as the second runner-up in the inter-school Vogue
competition (Personality contest) organized by the Rotaract Club of the H.R.
College.
