To Our Teachers, With Love – Teachers’ Day celebrations

 The special occasion on which to show gratitude towards teachers, the Teachers’ Day, was a grand affair at Don Bosco’s with students felicitating their teachers in their respective classes, followed by a special entertainment programme organized by parents and the Student Council.

Preparations for the day saw the P.T.A. representatives and parents of the Primary students helping the boys to prepare the class programmes. In the Secondary section, the Student Council ably guided the boys with the same. The classrooms, the staff rooms and the corridors were also colourfully decorated.

The day began by invoking God's blessings on the teachers at a special Mass in the shrine, followed by the class celebrations where students did their best to bring a smile to their teachers’ faces through speeches, poems, songs, skits, power point presentations and dance. An entertaining programme was put up in the gym by the Student Council and parents of the Primary Section. The day came to an end with a fellowship meal shared by the management, the retired and present staff and the non-teaching staff.
